LOCAL TIME
The local time is GMT + 4 hours. There is no change in time between summer and winter.

LANGUAGE
The official language of the UAE is Arabic, but English is widely spoken and understood everywhere.

CLOTHING
Light weight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year. However, sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings, and for indoor locations as the airconditioning is usually cold.
